Join DVTA
Membership in DVTA is open to individuals, corporations, and institutions primarily in but not limited to southeastern Pennsylvania, central and southern New Jersey, and Delaware who are active translators and/or interpreters or have a professional interest in the field. Active members of the association are experienced translators and interpreters in most of the world’s major languages and specialties and have a reputation for integrity and ethical conduct in their field of specialization.

Types of Membership
Associate
Entry level membership for new individuals who are active translators and/or interpreters or have a professional interest in these fields.
$35
Active
Must have been an Associate Member for at least one year prior to applying for Active membership. Active Members have additional rights, including the right to vote and hold office.

Corporate / Institutional
Corporate and Institutional members will be featured on our main page and can advertise their events through our forum.

Student
Special membership for college or university students enrolled full-time or part-time in a program related to translation or Interpretation.

Annual dues: $35

Annual dues: $45
Must have been an Associate Member for at least one year prior to applying for Active membership. Must submit a letter of reference from clients/supervisors in the translation/interpreter field and provide evidence of related employment (1099, pay stub, tax return).
- May vote, nominate Board members, chair and serve on committees, hold office, sponsor applicants for active membership

Corporate and Institutional members will be featured on our main page and can advertise their events through our forum.

Student
Annual dues: $10
Special membership for college or university students enrolled full-time or part-time in a program related to translation or Interpretation.
Open to any college or university student enrolled full-time or part-time in a program related to translation or interpretation, including foreign language study. Applicants for student membership must submit a letter from the program instructor to verify student status. A letter to that effect must also be submitted on membership renewal. Letters should be uploaded online when applying for or renewing membership.Â
