TCII is a non-language specific 40-hour program suitable for experienced interpreters looking to refresh and novice interpreters seeking to jump start their career!
Our curriculum is approved by the International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA) and stresses the National Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice as outlined by the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC).
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be prepared to work as qualified, trained, tested and professional medical interpreters. This training is located in Newark, Delaware and includes practice and critiquing drills, self- evaluations, coaching on ethical decision making, medical terminology and covers the essentials of medical interpreting.
If you are a seasoned interpreter with a 40-hour certificate that is from over 5 years ago (or a non-TCII certificate) this training can be CAREER-CHANGING. Call us to find out how and why!
All students must pass a linguistic skills test prior to acceptance to our certificate training or have valid proof of proficiency in all working languages.
