This page includes links and instructions for registering for the site as well as frequently asked questions about the site. Please review this carefully as it should answer most member questions. If your question is not answered here, feel free to email our Membership Chairperson.
- Click here or click on "My Account" in the upper right corner and select "Join."
- Enter a unique username for your account. PLEASE NOTE: Usernames CANNOT be changed, so choose wisely.
- Enter the email address where you would like all DVTA communications sent.
- Click on "Register" and then check your email for your system-generated password.
- Click here to login.
- Enter your username or email address and password.
- Click on the link to fill out your profile.
Frequently Asked Questions:
I registered, but I didn't get a password. Why?
First, check your spam and junk folders as well as your email inbox. If you still don't see an email from WordPress, you most likely have a pretty strong firewall and/or spam filter set up on your email provider or browser. You may need to adjust your settings to allow emails from WordPress in order for you to get your password.
Why can't I use my old email and password from the previous site?
Since we moved the site entirely to WordPress, none of the information or data from the old site (including emails and passwords) was transferred so you will not be able to use your old password or username to log into
the new site. When you register
for the new site, you will need to request a new password.

You're ready to complete your profile! Just log into
your account and complete your profile using these guidelines
Can I still mail a check to renew my membership?
Yep! But, you still need to register for the site so your dues can be updated in your profile and your information can be published on our Member Directory

I want to send a message to the membership via the Member Forum. How do I do that?
Log into your account using your username and password. Then, find the Member Forum link under "My Account" in the top right corner. Click on "Create a New Post" which is a link located to the right under the picture header. Title your post in the text field under "Add New Post" and then compose your message in the second text box. IMPORTANT: When finished, scroll down to the Blast It! section and select the members for whom your message is intended. YOUR POST WILL NOT BE EMAILED TO ANYONE UNLESS YOU CHECK ONE OF THOSE BOXES! When finished, select any appropriate categories and then blue "Publish" button on the right side of the page.
I have a new event I want published on the DVTA Calendar. How do I submit my event for approval?
Only current DVTA members can submit events to be published on our calendar. Log into your account using your username and password. Then, under the "Events" option, select "Add Event." Fill out as much of the information that is requested (and required!) on the form and click "Submit Event." A member of the website committee will review your event and approve it for publication on the DVTA Calendar if it is appropriate for our membership.
